The purpose of the Liberatory Spiritual Path is to discover — and integrate — perspectives that liberate, so that we can nourish our communal soul.
The Liberatory Spiritual Path unites us in our shared humanity. And what is more human than our neurotic patterns? Our loving longings? Our obsession to suffering, no matter what?
Once we’ve experienced liberation, it becomes our responsibility to share in that liberation with others. To support others as they engage in their own liberatory processes. To lead by embodied example.
How do we get free?
By giving our attention to those pesky wounds, reccurring dreams, prophetic visions, vibrant sensations, and ritualistic behaviors that call for our attention — lifetime after lifetime, moment after moment — again and again.
The first step is to approach with compassion, curiosity, and care. The first step is to listen.
Why? Because the goal of the Liberatory Spiritual Path is not to hurry up, learn something, finish, and get off.
The goal of the Liberatory Spiritual Path is to build the rigor, foresight, and resilience we need to stay on.
This is lifetimes work.
